Yatsu salt marsh

The Yatsu marsh is a tidal flat park in Funabashi, Chiba, less than an hour from downtown Tokyo. It is the place to find Japanese enthusiasts with huge camouflage-covered tele lenses the size of portable rocket launchers (I can only imagine how pathetic I looked with my 40 year old stiff manual focus lens). And for a good reason - the park is easily accessible and hosts some beautiful poultry.

It is a a place with a lot of shooting potential, as long as you don't point your lens at horizon level or higher, or you will capture the buildings on each side of the marsh.
